Capital University’s Convergent Media Center (CMC) is a nod to the future: an educational environment that mirrors the real world, a place where collaboration is expected and essential—just as it is in professional settings. Jump Creative tapped Kinopicz to build a lightweight map experience to showcase the new facility to select alumni and current students.

Kinopicz designed & developed a microsite featuring the latest architectural floorplans and renderings of the new 35,000 sq/ft facility. This simple web app combines a showcase of creative Capital student work, while also highlighting the state-of-the-art features of the new building. The map component consists of multiple floors which can be navigated with a mouse or by hand on tablet devices. Beacon callouts throughout each floorplan offer deeper exploration of the facilities. Finally, users can read a brief history of the building site and learn about the giving opportunities available to fund the completed construction.
