Kinopicz worked in collaboration with FuelHouse Creative to launch a completely redesigned experience for the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation – with a renewed focus on fundraising.
A campaign to end a heartbreaking disease.
Sanfilippo Syndrome (also known as MPS III) is a rare, progressive and fatal disease affecting 1 in 70,000 children. It is a genetic condition that affects the metabolism and results in severe damages to the Central Nervous System. Cure Sanfilippo Foundation was born of one families desire to raise significant funding to advance medical research for new therapies and to ultimately find a cure. What once started as a grassroots campaign has grown into a much larger foundation and support system for these children and their families.
One of the primary goals of this project was to simplify the most critical function of the website: donations. Previously, the PayPal standard donation button was being used by the non-profit to collect donations online. If you’ve ever used the standard PayPal donation button then you know how terrible and confusing that user experience can be. Along with introducing the new brand identity/designs from FuelHouse, Kinopicz integrated the site with Stripe’s payment gateway to keep the entire donation process on the site. Donors are now greeted with a much simpler checkout experience, along with recurring donations that can make the biggest impact in finding a cure!
