The marketing team at KEMBA Financial Credit Union challenged us to raise the bar for their local broadcast TV spots with a fresh set of ideas that stayed true to their brand.

Kinopicz American served as both creative agency and production studio for this campaign, from concept development and art direction, to live action, and on through post production.
Building off KEMBA’s existing slogan, We Are a Better Way to Bank, our team set to work developing a series of scripts that blended dry wit with slapstick comedy. The result was a campaign that echoes with the rhetorical refrain, “Maybe there’s a better way?”
We chose the Arri ALEXA camera package for these spots because of its cinematic look and great highlight handling. Wherever possible, we opted for practical effects to create greater comedic realism—and to provide the actors a more interactive world to inhabit and activate with their performances.
