The team at Scotts Miracle-Gro needed a lifestyle sizzle video to help bring their new Twelve Indoor™ Growing System’s brand and vision to life.
Twelve Months. One Shoot Day.
Balance lifestyle millieu with the sizzle of a new consumer product line: that was the creative and scripting challenge the Scotts’ team issued.
Kinopicz American served as both creative agency and production studio for this video. Shining a spotlight on the Twelve system’s ability to grow year-round, we designed a narrative arc that spanned all twelve months of the calendar.
By designing a flexible script, we were able to collaborate and ad lib with the Scotts brand and creative teams on location, producing a wealth of shots in a single shooting day.
Such fruitful improvisation would not have happened without the dedication of our talented crew—especially the art department led by Art Director Heather Glass-Oaks—as they cranked out a dozen quality scenes with food styling in a single day.
This project was originally commissioned an internal B2B piece—essentially a proof-of-concept. But after resounding positive reaction within the organization and on trade show floors, the Scotts team asked us to create this edit which is the national product launch video.
